Our Story
How it started
In 2021, when my grandmother’s dementia reached its late stage, my mom and her siblings came together to provide her with the best home care possible. We tried exploring different mealtime solutions, but nothing balanced her medical needs with the comfort of familiar flavors. That experience taught me how much dignity and joy food can bring, or take away, during life’s hardest seasons.
That’s why we created HomePlate. Today, HomePlate brings chef-crafted, dietitian-informed meals to older adults and their families. Our food is designed to be both delicious and carefully tailored to support health and wellbeing.
